The Fox Valley Training Academy is managed by Andy Bisceglia, a former collegiate pitcher/outfielder with over 25 years coaching experience. In recent years Andy was an Associate Scout for the 2001 World Series Champion Arizona Diamondbacks from 2001-2012 he has also coached at the collegiate level as pitching coach at Elgin Community College from 2000-2003 Andy has assisted several Division I teams with their pitching programs and camps; most recently with Miami University, OH. Many of Andy’s players from the Royals have gone on to compete at the highest collegiate level including Arizona State, Wake Forest and the University of Illinois. Currently Andy runs the Royals program and assists several of the professional scouts in the area finding young talent.
During the 2015 High School season, Coach Andy was asked to coach the Huntley HS Red Raiders Varsity Baseball team as their Hitting Coach.

Coach Erickson is a former scholarship collegiate pitcher and outfielder. He was Judson College’s (Judson University) first Chicagoland Collegiate All-Conference Player in 1999 and was also an NAIA All-Region selection the same year. Ben has spent time both as a high school coach as well as a volunteer assistant coach at the college level. From 2005-2009, Coach Erickson was the Director of Baseball Operations at Fox Valley Sports Academy (Elgin, IL) and since 2005, he has also been the assistant varsity coach at South Elgin High School. Coach Erickson has served on the Board of Directors for the Elgin Sports Hall of Fame Foundation since 2009. From 2010 – 2013 Coach Erickson was an Associate Scout for the Baltimore Orioles. In 2014 Coach Erickson joined the Texas Rangers as an Associate Scout.

Coach Kees is formerly the Associate Head Coach at Elgin Community College. During his tenure at the college, the Spartans have averaged 44 wins a season and Coach Kees has produced three All-American pitchers.
Prior to coaching, Coach Kees played professionally in the Arizona Diamondbacks’ organization and posted a .625 winning percentage in back-to-back seasons with Lethbridge, a Rookie-Class team where he went 5-3, and High Desert, a Class-A team where he went 6-2. Coach Kees played locally with the Schaumburg Flyers. His career professional record, which spanned over four seasons, was 20-13.
In January 2002, Coach Kees was named pitching coach of the Rockford River Hawks, an independent team in the Frontier League. Under Coach Kees, Rockford’s pitching staff ranked second in the league with a 3.88 ERA. In the 2001 season, he was varsity pitching coach at Barrington High School, where he helped the staff post a 23-10 record.

Cody Beck: Cody is an Outfielder/Pitcher that played collegiate baseball at Northern Illinois University from 2006-2010 He graduated with a teaching degree in Physical Education and minor in Health Education. Cody assisted in NIU’s most Mid-American Conference wins and No. 5 seed in the MAC tournament in 2007. His coaching experience includes: TSA Sports Academy from 2003-2008, NIU Top Dog Camps 2008-2009, Crystal Lake Cardinals travel camps 2007-2009. Cody has been coaching at Streamwood High School since 2011 and currently is the varsity assistant coach.

John is a left handed pitcher who started his career at Lakeland College in 2004. He went on to finish up playing at Purdue North Central in the NAIA where he lead the team his senior year with a 1.98 era. In 2009, John started his coaching career as the pitching coach for the Windy City Travelers 14U team.

Coach Kaz is a former minor league infielder, having played for both the San Diego Padres and Chicago Cub farm systems. In addition to his professional playing career, Randy has also worked as a professional scout in recent years with several organizations. Coach “Kaz” has been instructing & coaching for over twenty years and has been a lead instructor for many for many area camps & clinics.

Former Fox Valley Royal Kevin Kaczmarski was recognized All American 7 different times this past season.
Kevin received All-American First Team honors from Louisville Slugger, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), and Senior CLASS Award, Perfect Game USA as well as All-American Second Team honors from ABCA / Rawlings, Baseball America, and D1Baseball.
This Past June Kevin was selected by the New York Mets in the 9th round (269th pick overall) of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft earlier this month.
The University of Evansville outfielder led all Division I baseball players in batting average (.465), triples (nine), and triples per game (0.20). He was also second in the nation in on-base percentage (.543) and slugging percentage (.746), fifth in runs batted in per game (1.24), and 20th in doubles per game.
A Cary, Ill. native, Kevin led the Purple Aces this season in batting average (.465), hits (86), doubles (19), triples (nine), home runs (five), runs batted in (57), total bases (138), slugging percentage (.746), on-base percentage (.543), stolen bases (13), and fielding percentage (1.000).
His .465 batting average is the highest in single season program history. Kevins nine triples are second most for a Purple Ace and his 86 hits are eighth highest.
Kevin was the Missouri Valley Conference’s Joe Carter Player of the Year this season, the first Purple Ace in program history to receive the honor. He was also named First Team All-Conference, and selected to the MVC All-Defensive Team this spring. A three-time MVC Player of the Week this season, Kevin was also named NCBWA National Hitter of the Week (Apr. 28). He is a Dick Howser Trophy Watch List Semifinalist, a Golden Spikes Award Semifinalist, and ABCA / Rawlings All-Midwest Region First Team.
In his career, Kevin finished his time at UE second in doubles (66) and triples (22), fourth in runs batted in (171), fifth in batting average (.352), sixth in runs (169), and seventh in at-bats (841).
Also after getting drafted by the Mets Kevin led the Appalachian League (Kingsport Mets) in hitting with a .356 batting average.
Coach Kevin will be available from December 12th through Janruary 9th on Tuesdays from 5pm to 10pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm
Just Added thru February 13th. He will be available on Tuesdays between 4pm and 730pm and on Saturdays between 10am and 1pm.
Mike is a former 2 year varsity letter winner for Plainfield Central (2004-2005) and former all conference selection as a pitcher (2005). Mike then went on to play club baseball in the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) for both the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Iowa. While at Illinois, Mike served as both a starting pitcher and relief pitcher, receiving 3rd team All-Region in 2006. The Illini won the Great Lakes South Conference four years straight and won the regional tournament twice, proceeding to the NCBA World Series in Tampa, Florida twice. Mike was one of the coaches for the 8 team in-house league held at Illinois in the fall of 2008.

Mike is a former baseball and basketball player at the collegiate level for College of Du Page and Judson University. Mike’s leadership qualities were recognized in college when captured team leader awards twice. His baseball abilities were also recognized by his coaches and fellow players two more times when he won Players/Coaches awards. He also served as the Judson University assistant men’s basketball coach in 2010-11. Currently Mike is the the Sophomore baseball coach at Saint Francis HS.
